Could a love letter in the wrong hands be exactly where it belongs?

Since losing their dad, Violet’s life has been a constant balancing act, juggling her own grief while playing parent to her moody teenage sister, Phoebe.

But when an undelivered love letter, written by a former tenant to his ex, shows up in the mail, Phoebe becomes fixated on reuniting the note with its author, dragging Violet into what she’s certain is a terrible idea. Things only get messier when they meet the elusive, very real, Dex, who wants nothing to do it – or them. 

Giving up isn’t an option, and after some wildly unhinged persuasion, Violet’s suddenly in Dex’s car, with Phoebe in tow, on a cross-country road trip to deliver the letter in person. What starts out as a reckless plan to get her sister’s spark back soon becomes the most fun Violet’s had in a long time. And maybe – just maybe – she’s starting to like Dex.

Which would be fine . . . if he wasn’t still in love with someone else.
