Hope Comes to Eastby End

Sam Newby loves the rolling hills and lush green grass of Ollindale, the village he has grown up in. Home is where his heart is: but when his father dies, and his cruel stepmother becomes his guardian, he begins to dream of a different life. He flees, but vows to return once he is of age - and has the means to stop those who would destroy his community . . .

Laura Barker thinks about the last words Sam said to her more than she would care to admit: Follow your dreams. It is her greatest hope to become a district nurse, so she can help not only Ollindale, but the neighbouring, poverty-stricken town of Eastby End. But the only way she can serve her community is to leave, to train as a nurse down south, and follow her dreams, then her heart, back home.

A chance encounter between Sam and Laura fills them with hope that they will one day make it back to their village together. But with Sam's stepmother and her new husband causing chaos with their shady dealings in Eastby End, Sam and Laura must lean on their friends and the good people of Ollindale to bring hope back home . . .
