Science 2 Workbook is an exercise book for a second grade student.
The Science series is six sets of workbook and exercises for teaching basic science in English at the level of grades 1-6 in an elementary school that is bilingual or teaches in English and/or for self-study - prepares for international exams.
Includes teaching in the area of elements of biology, chemistry, physics along with elements of mathematics - completely in English. The series is aimed at students speaking English at the A1 -A2 level.
The textbooks are based on modern methods of teaching mathematics and science, developing 21st century competencies, teaching problem solving, critical thinking or logical reasoning, while developing students' practical skills in these areas.
The spiral teaching method allows students to gradually deepen and expand their mathematical and natural science knowledge. All lessons are based on the modern 5E model: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate, ensuring that teachers can more easily transfer knowledge and students can more easily acquire it in a friendly and practical way.
Main features of the series: science topics adapted to the age and interests of students, special emphasis on vocabulary and EAL (English as an Additional Language) support, glossary with definitions and pictures, “Work like a scientist” sections, tasks to develop critical thinking and responsibility, additional homework assignments, repetition lessons for each section, theory presented in a simple and attractive way, topics and tasks taken from students' everyday life.
As ICT knowledge develops, language skills are developed accordingly.
