Readeat is a bookstore in Kyiv and an online book service that has been bringing readers and books together since 2023.

In August 2026, a Russian attack destroyed our warehouse and every book inside it. More than 100 000 books worth over UAH 25 million burned down overnight.

Thanks to everyone who supported us after the attack — and to our team, who got down to work straight away — we are slowly rebuilding. For now, orders delivery may take up to 15 days. We are doing everything we can to restore our usual fast delivery with Nova Poshta, whose terminals and warehouses are also constantly under attack.

And right now, it’s not only Readeat that needs support. Ukraine’s whole book community does: authors, translators, illustrators, publishers and bookstores. In recent years alone, more than 10 million books from Ukrainian publishers have been destroyed by Russia.
